I'm new to this message board so forgive me if this reads a little rough...
I have looked into the archived postings of this site for the past few years and noticed a gross ommission which I feel MUST be mentioned. I expect the following to violate some sort of arbitrary "rule" and be erased so I'll keep it short. Since I'm not involved in the whole shipwreck thing I am not afraid to speak my mind.
The only reason the FITZGERALD film is no longer mentioned on here is because Mr. Baillod told Matt Williamson (the writer-director) that he was "no longer welcome" on his site almost a year ago. This action by Mr. Baillod was the result of a posting by Mr. Williamson which apparently called into question the true nature of Mr. Tom Farnquist. Having read the offending message, I can say with certainty that Mr. Williamson's intent was to DISPEL the rumors about Mr. Farnquist by attempting to establish an open dialogue.
Evidently, your Mr. Baillod is not so open-minded as you thought he was. So much for "providing an open forum"... for all the accusations flung towards Mr. Williamson of having an "agenda", I find it ironic that people like Mr. Baillod feel the need to serve their OWN agendas by criticizing and censoring a legitimate line of questioning.
Ultimately, I firmly believe that if you got nothing to hide you got nothing to worry about.
