Just courious, what leads people to beleive the M&B #2 is in deep water off Long Point? Is it just because it hasn't been found or was there something else that lead to that conclusion. I know next to nothing on this wreck and this is all assuption but it, Seems to me that she would have been heading north/northwest from Conneaut. Being battered broad side as the winds kicked up, turning west/southwest into the waves? Given most of the car carries go down with door failure, I doubt she stayed a float very long (15-30 minutes) and most likely went straight to the bottom. Given prevaling winds (SW to NE) may have been deposited or broken up somewhere on the Clear Creek Ridge or Long Point - Erie Ridge.
