I don't know the name of the ship, but I doubt it was the Hudson.
I am doing genealogical research, and a fellow researcher mentioned reading about a possible relative dying when a Hudson riverboat sunk. She thought the date was July of 1853.
I found this site, and was hoping someone here might have an answer.
Would there be other websites I could check?
