Man, you guys from the U.S.A. just don't seem to get it, do you. THIS IS TAKING PLACE IN ***CANADA*** You know, that big cold country to your north. The place where beer is real Beer, where coffee is real Coffee, and where there are more Donut Shopd per capita than another place in the world. Here's how it works in Canada, you enter our Country, you are subject to OUR Laws and OUR Constition. NOT YOURS. If the Canadian Governement decided that it is illegal to wear a Dog on your head, and passed said law (for what ever reason), then guess what?
So, in the event that Bill 13 does pass (and that is a REAL BIG IF at this point), and you come in to Ontario to dive on the Hamilton and are caught, guess what happens? Care to guess how much of your Americian Constitution applies to you up here in our legal system?
I don't mean to sound sharp, but over the pass few weeks I have seen posts from many drivers from the U.S.A., and you all seem to think that your constitution superscedes our's (it's just starting to get on my nervers a little). While you may issue your lawsuit against these parties, I dought very much that it will go anywhere (simple due to jurisdictional issues), but hell, give it shot. It just can only turn the heat up the buggers, hehehe. Even better, talk to your Government Senetors and Congressman, and have them call Mike Harris's office (I'll dig up his number and address for you). Now that might start the shit flying. Hell, get the issue on CNN, damn that _would_ start the shit flying
You might also want to check out the link at the bottom, it contain all the current and reliable info on Bill 13, including some of the information that you need for your lawsuit. But if I were a betting man, I'd go for CNN coverage, more effective than a room full of lawyers.
