Consider Joining the Association
The Association for
Great Lakes Maritime History is a non-profit association of institutions
and individuals from both Canada and the United States who are involved in the
preservation and interpretation of the maritime history of the Great Lakes
region. In addition to publishing a bi-monthly newsletter, the Association
also holds an annual conference featuring speakers on a wide variety of
topics related to the unique maritime history of what have been referred to
as the “Inland Seas.” The conference also includes roundtable discussions
on maritime history research and maritime museum management.
