On 21 June 2002, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit sustained the State of Wisconsin's appeal in the case of "Paul Ehorn v.
Sunken Vessel Known as the Rosinco." The Seventh Circuit reversed a district court judgment that awarded ownership of the vessel to Mr. Ehorn
and remanded the case for further proceedings.
