For those interested, I am doing two presentations this month on the Rouse Simmons. One will be on December 11, 2003 at the Wisconsin Marine Historical Soc. in Milwaukee WI for information call 414-286-3074.
The other will be on December 20, 2003 2:00 at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc WI for information 920-724-2356.
History and underwater pictures and film will be shown.

: Yes, the Rouse Simmons is diveable but deep. And there are tree remnants on it. I haven't dived it, but I've presented the Underwater Archeological Society of Chicago's multimedia slide/video show which has some underwater footage of the wreck shot by a couple of our members.

: No, the Rouse Simmons story is not a festive one, but no ship disaster is. However, the story goes well beyond the disaster, and it is one of hope and spirit for the holidays as our presentation shows.
