Check Best Buy, Circut City, and Gander Mountian. They all carry different brands with different features. Pick the one that best suits your needs, then wait til it goes on sale! You shouldn't have to wait more then a couple weeks. GPS's are lots of fun, every nerd should have one. Mine's a Garmin.

: I have a little magellan handheld GPS which can now be had for around $100. It has no spiffy functions being bottom line model, but does the trick easily. I have marked all my favorite wrecks and if I simply follow the arrow with my boat, then the arrow flip-flops when I arrive, glance at the fathometer, and there it is, every time! Wonderful little gadgets... getting cheaper all the time.
