I have a little magellan handheld GPS which can now be had for around $100. It has no spiffy functions being bottom line model, but does the trick easily. I have marked all my favorite wrecks and if I simply follow the arrow with my boat, then the arrow flip-flops when I arrive, glance at the fathometer, and there it is, every time! Wonderful little gadgets... getting cheaper all the time.
