Earlier this spring I noticed some dark areas about 40' off shore from claybanks about 1 1/2 Mi. S of Stony Creek. Conditions were good today so I snorkled over the area and discovered what looks like two parts of an old steamer, one part has two old boiler like metal parts one about 5' long and 0ne about 12' long. About 100' from this wreckage is about 20' of the ships stern including the propeller which is quite large as are the ships visable timbers. Im quite sure Brendon Baillod can ID this vessel from his research on his recently released book,my email is kind of screwed up so Brendon give me a call I can show you the wreck this summer!

regards,
Dave M.
