Your right, this is interesting. I'm unclear whether the URA is selling these, or somebody else is trying to turn a buck on the hard work of the URA.
If Dave's group is selling them, more power to them. It seems like a bargain to me, and they deserve every penny they get.
If its somebody who ripped off the coordinates from Dave, I can't see supporting that kind of behavour. Buying them would be like buying a stolen radio. Not good.
Do we know who is selling these?

: This is a most interesting development! The coordinates for a few URA discovered Lake Huron wrecks are for sale on ebay. The numbers are for the John A. McPhail and James W. Curran, carferries lost in 1964 off Pt. Aux Barques. They are deep, tech dives. Bidding is opening at $100. This will be an interesting study in market demand for new tech diving targets and the relative value of wreck location info. The winner will have a private tech diving playground and will probably take great care with the location info., having paid to get it. However, one wonders how long the cat can stay in the bag once the word is out.
