Where is the best place to launch a 24' boat near the Mackinaw straits? I only have a 2 wheel drive vehicle and the boat weighs 5000 lbs. I would also like to sleep on the boat overnight (maybe the island), and still have access to a good dive shop for tank fills. Does the Island have a horse driven compressor?
