These wrecks were reportedly imaged last year during the survey work. This year they are finishing the survey and doing ground truthing on the targets they imaged last year. I talked with Ellen Brody about this last year and they really didn't have any info. on the new wrecks other than speculation, as they didn't dive or drop camera the targets at that time. I would expect that they will shortly announce if the targets proved to be wrecks, since they are wrapping up this year's survey. However, as in the case of the Chicora/Akeley, it may take some time to put a name to them.
: I just heard Robert Ballard has found 3 new ship wrecks in thunder bay. Does anyone have information on these shipwrecks?
