I think you're probably right about that. The John J. Audubon is a good case in point. Although she doesn't lie in the park proper, they didn't know she had been found by Steele and had her listed in their "possibilities" table.
: What I have heard from some sources that the wrecks he found, were wrecks that have been found and divers have been diving them. John Steele had found alot of wrecks in that area a long time ago and divers have dove them.
