My father, David Engeseth, was part of a salvage operation of a wreck on lake michigan in the early 1960's. I do not know the name of the ship, but I believe it was on display after the successful salvage, in Door County for a short time. The man who owned the wreck couldn't afford to maintain the ship and it deteriorated and was lost. Any info you have would be great! I would like to put together a commemorative piece for my father.
