The location of the James B Colgate has been known for at least several years and probably longer.
My brother has gone diving on it twice, the first time several summers ago.
The wreck lies inverted in 85 feet of water at 42deg 05.38min, 81deg 44.28min.
Unfortunately the vessel is inverted.
If you need more information go to "http://www.alcheminc.com".
"Erie Wrecks" by Georgann & Michael Wachter also has an excellent description of the Colgate as it appears today.
