What kind of "motion picture" are we talking about here? I think it would be in the best interest of the victim's families as well as students of Great Lakes maritime history to view a well-produced, feature-length documentary based on factual evidence, not another Hollywood-style James Cameron-type epic loaded with distorted facts, supposition and historical revisionism. The Titanic film is a perfect example of gross revisionism dealt by the hand of a sensationalistic egomaniac. I sincerely hope this isn't the treatment the Fitz and her crew are about to receive. I say if a film has to be made, make it right or don't make it at all. I also hope that whoever researches this project has the foresight to consult Frederick Stonehouse - he's put more time and energy in persuit of facts regarding the Fitzgerald disaster than just about anyone.
