While my own theory is that she grounded on the shoals is the main cause of the sinking there are other factors that did not help her situation. If you saw the Titanic the actual sinking is what pretty much happened. The Stories of people on the ship can be changed around, especially since so many died and there stories cannot be properly told. With the Fitz it is still current and the life of the crews can be accurately told. The story of the Titanic was fiction based upon a true event. I have complete that Matt will do a good job and make the Fitzgerald movie as accurate as possible.
What is the status of this movie as of November, 2001, just 2 days short of the 25th anniversary of the sinking.
