After diving some wrecks in the great lakes , the deep wrecks in lake Huron do not have any zebra mussels on them but the shallower ones do. The wrecks in Lake Superior are free of zebra mussels also. I wondered if it was the cold water or the sunlight that allowed the zebra mussels to survive on these wrecks?
