I met a woman this morning who shared with me that her grandfather
was a crew member (in the pilot house) of the Willis King when it rammed
the Superior City. That's "about all she knows about shipwrecks". She
expressed an interest in learning more about her grandfathers boat, the "Willis King".
I told her I knew of a place that may be able to help (this web site). So how about
it? Can anyone direct me to any information on the King? A picture would be great (she has
never seen it), and any information would be great too. I think the King went on to sail
under a different name (possibly the "curtiss" something?). Any knowledge of that?
