Sunken Lake Superior Yacht

I read in one of Dwight Boyer's books of a wealthy Cleveland family yacht which sank in the early 1900s in Lake Superior. Efforts, initially, to salvage her failed. Some years later, she was located by a diver in very deep water - - the diver apparently became entangled in the wreck and lost his life while diving on her. The last I heard, which was many years ago, efforts were being made to salvage the yacht, and that the diver's was still down there. Does anyone know about this yacht, and what has happened to it?

Incidentally, I've heard that in the cold depths of the Great Lakes, shipwreck victims' bodies are preserved, and that occasionally such bodies are washed ashore. Recently, one of the Edmund Fitzgerald's crewman's body was recovered. Is this true? Thanks.
