The Dgps has at times : : twisted the location arround the gps reading, just to : : accomodate the inserted "D" for correction, becomming unreliable : : between these two instruments. Use, if you can, standard : : world wide GPS only signal without correction, and you : : may relocate every one of your spots easily. The DGPS actually : : offsets the GPS by the value "unknown", but then you may : : depend on this correction, or choose the standard worldwide : : locator. The correction is only valid for harbor entrances, were : : this is used, or within 9 to 15 miles from the transmitter, were : : the signal is "distorted" to an accuracy artificially only at : : this location. If you have previously recorded this location on : : DGPS, you may get a 15 foot accuracy, as long as you own your : : locator-receiver. The 5 year old GPS unit can and do read from 7 to 9 : : digits, but displays only 7 digits, but by accepting 100 times : : more accurate signal, they will read rock-steady locations, : : for you.
