Does anyone know the location where the navy sank the damaged training planes from WW2. It is a common fact that the navy made plywood aircraft carriers to train pilots how to land planes on real carriers. During this testing there was a lot of planes damaged. The records show that over 300 planes were buried at sea in Lake Michigan. These planes include fighters and a few bombers. Any info, including GPS markings would be great.
