I have a picture of the bottom of a lake boat floating in open water. There is a line attached to the what appears to be the bow of the wreck. Only part of the boat's bottom is visible.

The caption on the back of the photo reads:

June 17 - 1916
Streamer Price Just comming up at 12:10 PM

Could this be picture of the Charles Price? I see no record that the Price was ever salvaged or raised.

My grandfather was captain of the wrecker Favortie that righted the Eastland in 1915 after she rolled over in Chicago.

This picture could have been taken from the deck of the Favorite. The note on the back of the photo appears to be in my grandfather's handwriting.
