Idiots are one of the few things that Amercians can appreciate like no-one else in the world. The reason that idiots are primarily an American phenomenon is because we are relatively free. One of the best definitions of freedom that I have ever heard relates to idiots. Americans are free because they can choose to be idiots. For those who choose not to participate, your experience is enriched through the comparitive analysis that the idiot offers. As with all things relating to freedom, let's be careful not to give it up to anyone.
