i've known about this only for the past few months when frank sent me some pics of the bell. I'm glad frank is pleased about it, and john and john should be commended for their hard work and obviously great planning! However, my own opininon is that it is sad to take any item from any sunken wreck...for whatever reason. I just don't agree with it...and it's only a memorial to the family's if it's placed in public for viewing free of charge..otherwise...it's simpley done to make money. No other reason can be made for someone restoreing a bell..and instead of placeing it in a public square or some enclosed area where it can be viewed by the family's and by all, whenever they wish to view...it will come out of their pockets and only viewable during seasonal museum hours. And yeah, that's sad. stv
