Two of the occupants from the wrecked Seabee aircraft were thrown from the plane as it crashed into the lake. From the debris field, we believe that the aircraft probably hit first with a wing and then cart wheeled . There is debris on the bottom of the lake for several hundred feet in back and in front of the aircraft. One occupant was thrown in back of and the other in front of the Seabee aircraft. The temperature at this depth ( tech dive ) is almost a constant 4 Deg C (39 F) . What was surprising is that both occupants still have a considerable amount of their body intact and to some degree somewhat recognizable after 50 years of laying open on the bottom of this lake. NOTE: We did not put up any of these images on the www.ShipwreckWorld.com website. The other two occupants appear to have been trapped in the back of the aircraft due to the engine that is mounted on the roof crushing into the cabin and coming to rest on the back of the front seats. It looks like the occupants in the back of the aircraft may be in a similiar state.
