Joe I agree with your thoughts on the spiegel might just as well sink a school bus so why waste the money on intentionally sinking ships.The guide lines for safety will stipulate stripping and cutting the ship up for safe access and escape routes.I would much rather the money go towards bouying wrecks and providing more chambers and dive med facilities. I would also like to see a fund set up for paying a finders fee to shipwreck hunters for providing locations of new wrecks much better then diving a stripped out intentionall sunk scrap heap.Give the divers a choice between diving a newely discovered historic shipwreck or the other option (scrap heap) it's not hard to figure out which will draw the most interest and $$$$ Tim
