The ones I have seen were just a tube of copper,about 3-4 inches diameter,about 2-4 feet long.The tube is usually soldered along its length,like it was rolled and solder joined.The tube ends are sorta like a thru hull fitting,only the must have been hammered over when put thru a drilled hole,because both ends have the same type ends.I wish I had a photo.I saw one this week on the chickamauga.
