First of all, you’re most likely misquoting Pat Labadie. Who on this site thinks Pat will intentionally misguide anyone? Secondly, you are assuming that state and federal agencies have an unlimited budget and can update a website and any other whim regardless of fiscal or IT obstacles. Take a step back, take a deep breathe, and realize that the NOAA website is the product of a Federal agency that most likely requires a substantial amount of effort to do anything. Is this to the benefit of all? No. But they do their best and service what they can. You are way out of line, Wendy, to accuse Pat of misleading anyone. A government agency may not be the most efficient, but they do what they can for the best interests of all. Geez, sometimes I think this site is dominated by the Posse Comitatus.
Obviously, this forum is 100% anti-government, but to accuse Pat of negligence is blasphemy. Shame on you. It is sickening that everyone on this site is so anti-anything that promoting anything other than their own personal interests is considered horrific. Everyone on this site needs to wake up to reality and realize that the twelve people that frequent this site do not speak for all of the Great Lakes stakeholders. It’s just that everyone else doesn’t have the time for your petty quibbles about every which way the wind blows.
