I think before claims of ownership are even considered, Steve should provide a whole lot more convincing evidence to support his claim of locating the Griffon.I can recall quite a few would be shipwreck sites at the west end of the Straights of Mackinaw that I could claim as the Griffon shipwreck site and keep the locations secret just to kee the Hipe going.
