Having trouble being able to post at the bottom of string, so started a new post. This is the end of my last reply which got cut off (I probably rambled too much)

Con't: ……Please have patience. For those interested, we will provide the location of the Michigan in time for diving this summer. Or perhaps someone will re-find it first. We can’t control that, only hope that you try not to damage it with grapple hooks, leave the wreck as you find it, and most importantly dive safely. Even though it is not our responsibility, we would certainly hate to hear about a dive accident on a wreck we had found.

P.S. As you will learn from our upcoming presentation on the HENNEPIN at Ghostships, it is very significant archaeologically and we have the hope of listing it on the National Register of Historic places to join only 11 other wrecks in the State of Michigan. The good condition of the wreck is critical to getting the listing initially. We ask that you be patient with the opportunity to dive that. We hope one day to have a public celebration on site as a team of skilled tech divers (perhaps Bill and Stan?) help us install a State Historic plaque on that wreck much like on the tug SPORT in Lake Huron.
