The Marine Technology Reporter has a story about rhe discovery of the S. S. North American in the Atlantic Ocean. This was one of three boats operated by the Chciago, Duluth and Georgian Bay line. The vessels wintered here in Holland, Michigan until their careers ended in the late 1960s. Here's the link:
