Guys we have been trying to solve the mysery of which beachwreck is which? Well in reading articles about the wreck of the L.C. Woodruff, 3 masted Bark which went down 1 mile north of the white lake harbour. And after reading Pete Ceasar's own book on the subject it's obvious he was mistaken in claiming that the remains of the LC were found againt the pier wall and beach area ajacent to the south pier wall. It is almost physically impossible for a wreck to move south over 1 mile through 2 breakwalls and end up on the beach against the south side of the south breakwall. Which would mean Brendon's contention that Pete probably found the canal schooner Contest 4348 and the wreck researched this summer by MSRA & myself is actually the LC Woodruff, having viewed a good portion of the ruins I beleive it was long enouph to be the Woodruff!
