Steve:
I've read most of these posts, and have checked the web references stated. It is clear that there is a claim that the Griffon has been found. It seems obviously clear that some early wreck has been found - but the Griffon has been found several times, over the past 20 or 30 years - supposedly, at least , and none of these discoveries have proven to be true. Why should anyone believe that this discovery is any different from the many earlier "so-called" discoveries of the Griffon?
Nothing I have read in these posts on on the web references, so far seems to offer any clear evidence that this more recently found wreck is, in fact, the Griffon. What evidence can you offer, within or not within (if possible) your current confidentiality constraints to convince the diving public that this wreck you've found is, in fact the Griffon?
Please offer us some evidence that we can "sink our teeth into." Also, if there's something that I've missed please let me know
