Thanks Steve, your comment reguarding education on the subject is right on point. Misreprentation is too common today. State Courts have no say reguarding the Abandoned Shipwreck Act (ASA), this is a Federal issue and is goverened by Federal Court. I would suggest that Mr Broihahn and any other interested parties read and try to interpret an article written by Eric C. Reinelt, titled " Legislative Bills for Abandoned Shipwrecks". This article can be found in the 1985 edition, Volume 25, No.'s 3&4 of Soundings, which is a quarterly pamphlet published by the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society. The ASA was clearly stated some 20 years ago and has not changed, it has only been misinterpreted and misquoted.
