Hi: I'm in the process of drawing a set of model plans for the Mataafa as she appeared during the 1905 storm. It appears through photo's that the forward capstain in front of the pilot house does not set on the centerline but closer to the starboard side. Does anyone have a photograph that clearly shows its location in relation to the deck bit on the starboard side of the ship? Also looking for good deck views of the stern area but I believe I can make a pretty accurate guess based on what I have found so far. Thank you, Chris chris_rottiers@yahoo.com
