Yes, I did. I knew Dick Race very well, both as a friend and as a competitor in the commercial market place. I was saddened by Dicks passing, but, I'm sure the Democrats miss Him even more.
I had very little to do with Dicks' diving of the Milwaukee car ferry. I was around for a couple of bs sessions, but, never dove it with him or his crew. We may have met, but, I just don't remember. Some days, half the fun of being around Dick, was the circus of characters.
