I have rarely had to delete any posts on the group. I only do so if there are personal attacks on people. I usually email the people involved before it gets out of hand. I'd prefer people try to make posts that are of interest to the group at large, but I didn't see anything worthy of deletion in the unusual exchange below. I'd simply ask that we try to keep this newsgroup interesting to as many people as possible and try not to use it in cases where private emails might be more appropriate.
