Ok. First let me say, There was a search I was going to perform a few summers ago which never panned out because of the "drama" I was experiencing on the home front. With that far past me. This idea of actually locating the PM 18 has not. A while back I emailed Ric Mixter who said he was also interested in the Project and gave me some great tips/pointers. Also I created some underwater artwork as a guide on what to look for as far as a debris and what the ship "may" look like from articles and first hand accounts of the sinking. However its hard to figure what a ship is going to do once under the surface. One might have to know the current direction...and with there being heavy weather this could have been a factor...including the suction from the big ship going under. There was a boiler explosion as well, which I wasn't too clear on. I believe I may have added more damage then necassary on the artwork. I have a tenative Budget which needs to be squished a bit as it now stands at 100,000.00 . But that includes i pre-search survey to find the area that is most likley. When your playing with that much money and time...you want to be in the right general area. The budget also included meals, Rov cost, Boat and support vessell costs. Pretty much everything. If anyone has ANYTHING to offer. Including budgets, where to get the money, charts, locations, or anything reply this thread or email me at wreckresearch@elvis.com . Regards Steve
