Both of you make very perceptive points, The wooden steamship era was extremely interresting. I would like to see some one make a computer graphics replica of many of the ships in a historical documentary for TV. If they can recreate the Titantic they could do the same for the Historical Ships of the Great Lakes. Maybe the History Channel, Discovery Ch. or PBS. thanks for your insight, Dave
