Here is the side scan of a target I got a couple of years ago. This has not been ground truthed. I make no assertions or claims that I have verified. I believe it might be the J Carruthers or the Ark (with wishful thinking, think really big, after all it's too small for an aircraft carrier).
It was shot in very deep water, 20+ mile winds, 4-6 waves on very long range. Please note scale lines are 15 meters. My sonar corrects along track speed, so 15 meters of range equals 15 meters of length..........
I always seem to have more wrecks then time to look at them.
