Thank You for your offer of assistance, but, the project is not worth any assistance from anyone. Unless you're offering about $25,000.00 to find the last engine. Brad, John B., Jeff F., Steve here's a chance to put your money where your mouths have been.
When I attended the Chicora presentation, hosted by the Chicora Preservation Society they made mention of the rov failing, did you get it back ? That was certainly very philanthropical considering the cost of the recovery and repairs. I wouldn't want to risk your resources for something not worth the trouble.
I noticed a while back, on a national dive accident list, a mild bends case in chicago, regarding a deep shipwreck dive. Do you know any particulars?
Archeological permit? Does this mean Illinois effort to further restrict free access is suceeding? I'm not sure I understand why you would need a permit?
