steve,

Yes, I'm aware of A&T recovery. There was a very fine article about them in the "warbirds" magazine, they made the cover with their story about 2 warbird recoveries for $250,000.00 apiece, smart competent people. Who have time and money for a pretty website......I do envy them the money, forget the pretty website.........

I'm aware of the lack of monetary gain for the dc-4. Since it was worth substantialy less then the going rate for A&T ($250,000.00 as per warbirds mag), why would they bother ?

As for the condition and value of the Dc-4, re-read John v, sept 15, and willie response sept 16. Why would anyone want to own shredded and scattered pieces of junk.

"There must have been some magic in the old top hat they found, for when they out it on his head, He began to dance around." There must be some value, look at all the sharks circling around.

Without looking at google or msras' nw 2501 site, name 10 of the passengers in 2 mins or less.

Oh, and one more thing, never underestimate anyone Check these out, and scroll down the whole page.......
