Willie- Seems to me that if you or someone else already found the DC-3, or 8 (by the way, its a 4) we, who post on this group, might have already heard about it. Congratulations if you were the first to find it, but please consider that there's no glory (or claim) for you if you don't actually make it public knowledge, but instead wait 28 years to mention it only after someone else is supposedly looking for it. Those of us interested in shipwrecks (and plane wrecks), would, I'm sure, be interested to know what you may have learned about the disaster from seeing it's remains, and you would not have to disclose its location to do so. If you won't share, then you are doing nothing more than making a claim of discovery, such as the groups you apparently look down upon, who have made claim to finding the Chicora.
