If Mr Lemmer truly did not have those items, and dnr officers truly did threats to compell him into signing any sort of confession, then those officers themselves committed a felony.I used to have respect for those guys, but their behavior lately has left only a very tarnished and dis honored image. All this nonsense over a stupid board. We had a wolverine running around area where I live, and rather than live trap or tranquilize it and relocate it to Canada, which does have a population of wolverines, the dnr takes a picture, the state govt.passes a law"protecting it".How on earth is ONE wolverine going to thrive,if they deny it the ability TO REPRODUCE.Now,they don't even know were it is,and the probability of becoming roadkill is high,as these animals scavange dead deer. They also don't know its sex,so if they do get a mate, its a 50/50 chance of being the wrong sex.We have to buy licenses to catch fish we can't eat,to hunt deer with TB,and now this? john v.
