Craig,Altough I know the type of unit you have,I have never used one.I'm curious if you ever located any wood hulled vessels with it?Does it give a rcognizable signal or what?My experience is with klein units.Even with a good klein unit,it is sometimes difficult to see some wrecks in rocky bottom.Add a little thermalcline,and it gets even tougher.
