I looked at the website that shows "looted" portholes on the Rosinco. In order for the porthole windows to have been gained by illegal removal, there would have to be a date taken established. Prior to this, they would have been legally collected artifacts. Yes, legally taken and possessed. Please don’t consider artifacts taken before the involvement of the government as looted. Items removed prior to government involvement were legal. Try to remember this before passing judgment. I think the only thing historic about the Rosinco is that it set a president. Guilty until proven innocent. I think this whole thing has taken some of the romance and adventure out of deep-water diving, at least for myself and many of my friends. If you look back at past years, I thing you will find a weaning interest in wreck hunting and diving. I am from the old school of diving, as was Mr. Ehorn, and I think the whole basis of that mess was a character assignation attempt by one or two other divers (you know who you are too). I feel for Mr. Ehorn, but be assured Paul, there are people behind you all the way. A note to you new divers; change comes slowly. Just opinions from the what-it’s-worth department.
