Paul, There is a perfectly logical reason why they put a replacement toilet on the Grecian.According to State Plumbing Code that particular toilet did not meet todays standards,as it was not a 1.6 gallon per flush. Also the rest of the bathroom had to brought up to current code,as the removal of the original toilet negated the so called"grandfather clause".They also had to install handicap accessibility ramps and stainless steel railing to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act.I only hope they didn't install one of those hand blow dryers.I hate those.
