Guys, This sunday I went back to the site of the 19th centry steamer Daisy Day and lo and behold winter and spring waves and currents have uncovered her boiler, condenser, keel and propeller. Woahhh! talk about cold try snorkling in 40-some degree temps! I took just enouph time to find out that as much of this old wooden lumber-hooker's parts were revealed as I can remember seeing before. Members of the MSRA will try to photograph these parts and get GPS readings sometime in the near future. Speaking of MSRA, their Histories and Mysteries show was awesome! The re-enactment on the exciting story of the Steamer Michigan was very entertaining as was the chance to see presentations and meet Ric Mixter & Mr. Trotter, It makes one want to join such a exciting organization, so I did! By the way actually more of " the Day" is uncovered including some piping and hardware that may lead to the engine. Brendon I'm sure you would like some Photos possibly for your book Ghosts of Oceana County if it's not at press yet? regards, Dave
